The CSM certification process involves several steps:
Learn about the Scrum Framework and lifecycle.
Complete a 2-day Scrum Continuous Management (CSM) training course delivered by a Scrum Alliance certified trainer.
Pass the Scrum Certification online test. The test includes 50 questions, 37 of which must be answered correctly. You can complete the exam for up to 60 minutes.
Upon completion of these steps, you will earn your Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

A CSM exam does not come with any pre-set eligibility requirements. However, you will need to complete 2 days of CSM training and have a basic understanding of Scrum and agile principles.

Participate in the training:
Take part in the training, participate in the discussions, and ask questions related to Scrum.
Pass the CSM Certification Exam:
Once you have completed the training course, you will be required to take the Scrum Certification Exam (CSM exam). The exam is online and Scrum Alliance (the certifying body) administers it. The exam consists of 50 multi-choice questions and you must pass at least 37 of them within 60 minutes.
Submit License Agreement:
Submit your license agreement to scrum alliance for acceptance.This agreement outlines your commitment to the Scrum values and principles. Complete Membership Profile: Ensure that you complete your membership profile on the Scrum Alliance website. This profile is necessary to maintain your certification. Renew Certification: CSM certification is valid for two years. To maintain your certification, you will need to renew it every two years by earning Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and paying a renewal fee.
