Eligibility
To qualify for the AWS CDA Level exam, you must have at least 12 months of AWS experience coding solutions that use AWS services, such as AWS Simple Storage (S3), AWS DynamoDB, AWS Simple Queue (SQS) and AWS Simple Notification (SNS) as well as AWS Simple Workflow (SWF) and Elastic Beanstalk (AWS CloudFormation).

To get your AWS Developer Associate certificate, you’ll need to register to take the certification exam. You can take the exam at any one of the more than 750 testing centers across the world.
Please note that there’s a registration fee for the AWS Developer associate exam, and it’s $150.
You’ll also need to pay the registration fee if you’re taking the AWS sysOps administrator associate certification exam. There’s a $150 registration fee for the SysOps administrator associate exam.
The registration fee covers the cost of administering the exam and the resources needed to administer the exam.
In order to apply for the AWS Developer Associate certification, it is necessary to meet the following prerequisites:
Completion of the AWS Technical Essentials course or substantial hands-on professional experience working with different AWS services.
Proficiency in comprehending stateless and loosely coupled distributed applications.
Familiarity with developing API interfaces.
A foundational understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
A working knowledge of messaging and queuing services.
Meeting these prerequisites ensures that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to effectively pursue the AWS Developer Associate certification.
